Douglas C. Lyons serves as our Addictions Interventionist and Family Business Advisor. Working closely with clients, he facilitates a thorough family systems assessment and analysis. Doug helps families develop individualized plans to comprehensively address addictions, compulsions and other psychological, social and financial aspects of their wealth.

Consultation and assessment of addiction to alcohol, drugs or processes, including:

• Eating disorders and disordered eating
• Video gaming disorders
• Spending disorders
• Gambling disorders
• Relationship-Sex addiction
• Pornography

         
As Director of Clinical Services for the nationally renowned Hazelden Springbrook Treatment Center in Oregon, Doug has more than 17years of experience working with addiction in complex family systems. His leadership role on strategic planning and implementation teams was instrumental to the growth of Hazelden Springbrook’s services and reputation.

Doug’s work with families and individuals of means and prominence offered hope for those dealing with addiction’s devastating toll on a family’s quality of life and net worth. This counseling experience led to his development of processes and systems that can improve both the quality of life for families and their ability to enhance wealth over multiple generations.

Doug holds a BA in Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox University and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC II).  Doug also holds a Certificate in Family Business Advising with the Family Firm Institute. 

Doug has been married to his wife Amy for 15 years and has 2 daughters. In his leisure time, Doug enjoys skiing with his family, travel, golf and reading.
